Lyttletons of London is a family run firm producing very high quality stationery at realistic prices.
Our aim is to make standard the products and features of personalised stationery that our competitors charge as extra.
Our Luxury stationery is always printed with an embossed (raised) finish, with a choice of 16 shades of ink.
In addition, included in the price, for an extra special touch we also offer a choice of 16 colours of tissue lining for the matching envelopes accompanying our stationery.
The range of designs and layouts for your stationery have been honed from the popular choices of our customers, but should you require any bespoke additions or changes then we will be more than happy to accommodate your requests.
We always email a proof of your personalised stationery for your approval before work is begun. Simply email us back with any changes required to ensure that your product meets with your approval.
We are always searching for new ideas both in terms of the range of stationery we offer or improvements to our current range and we more than welcome your comments and suggestions.

About our Paper, Card and Fonts
Our Paper and Card
Our paper is milled for Lyttletons by a firm that has been producing high quality writing paper for over 200 years. The paper is manufactured specifically for use with pen and ink in a range of beautiful finishes.
Paper weight is measured in gsm (grams per square metre) and we select the very best, heavy weight papers and boards. Our paper and card is produced without a water-mark so it is personal to you.

• White Wove: A clean white, smooth surface:

Wove & Laid
Wove is a smooth finish, Laid is a subtle textured finish produced by a milling methodology that would have traditionally used a raised grid on which the paper was laid out to dry. Thus why the finish is known as Laid and why the finish has a subtle pattern inherent in the paper.
Envelopes
All our envelopes are made with matching high-quality papers are fully lined with tissue papers in a variety of 16 colours (Our Premium Range offers unlined envelopes milled and finished to the same high quality standard).
Paper Sizes
The standard size of our Cards is a generous 155 x 108mm (6.1 x 4.25”)
Our writing paper is available in two sizes:
• Notepaper 155 x 216mm (6.1 x 8.5”)
• Letterpaper 210 x 297mm (8.25 x 11.7”)
Our Fonts
We have selected eight of the most popular fonts for personal stationery (four of these fonts are available in our Premium Range).
Please note that Dickens, Hemingway, Thackeray and Fitzgerald are in upper case and Bronte, Eliot, Pepys and Steinbeck are in upper and lower case.
Hemingway Our popular open type font with serif (the small stroke on the end of each letter). All UPPER CASE with a larger first letter.
Pepys Our classic script font, elegant and timeless. Available in both UPPER and lower cases.
Thackeray Engravers Open roman font with serif (the small stroke on the end of each letter) all UPPER CASE with a larger first letter.
Bronte Beautiful and elegant script font perfect for names. Available in UPPER and lower cases.
Dickens Roman lettering with serif (the small stroke on the end of each letter), all UPPER CASE with the interest of the larger first letter. Classic choice for names and addresses.
Fitzgerald Popular Art Deco inspired font with quirky lettering for those who wish to stand out from the crowd. All UPPER CASE with a larger first letter.
Eliot Modern script which is both easy to read and elegant. Available in both UPPER and lower cases.
Steinbeck Lyttletons modern classic with serif (the small stroke on the end of each letter). Available in both UPPER and lower cases.
Our Inks
You have the opportunity to personalise your stationery with a choice from our 16 different inks (4 colours in our Premium Range). Please note that the colours shown on the website are a guide and may vary from screen to screen.
Embossed Printing
We print using a high quality embossed finish as standard to all of our luxury products. The embossed finish is produced using a thermographic process. The raised surface of the print is associated with high quality and adds a touch of luxury to your stationery. Our premium products and some of our other made to order products are flat printed which we utilise to offer a range of colours and type faces and print finishes otherwise unavailable for embossing. Any products using our embossed or flat printing process are clearly marked in the product description.
